Downloading, installing, using, or working with SideInstaller or its source code means that you accept its Terms of Service. Do not use it if you do not agree.
1. Nature of the app
SideInstaller is an independent, community-created sideloading tool for managing apps on a user’s own iOS devices through Apple’s developer provisioning system and the user’s own Apple ID. It is not sponsored, approved, or operated by Apple.
2. Assumption of risk
Sideloading depends on mechanisms Apple may restrict, alter, or discontinue. Risks include account restrictions, revoked certificates, installation failures, crashes, lost data, pairing problems, and functionality breaking after device or server changes. Third-party apps are not reviewed, hosted, or endorsed by SideInstaller. You accept responsibility for using the app on your devices and accounts.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for complying with applicable law and your agreements with Apple, obtaining software lawfully, protecting your credentials and devices, and ensuring you have permission to install anything you sideload. SideInstaller must not be used for piracy or another unlawful purpose.
4. No warranty
The app and source code are supplied as available, without express or implied guarantees. This includes guarantees of fitness, merchantability, accuracy, non-infringement, availability, or uninterrupted operation. Information from developers or community members does not create a warranty.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not responsible for damages connected to using or being unable to use SideInstaller. This includes account action, certificate revocation, data or functionality loss, third-party claims, penalties, and damage caused by installed apps. Where liability cannot legally be excluded, the upstream terms limit it to the amount paid for SideInstaller.
6. Indemnification
You agree to protect the developer and contributors from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable legal expenses caused by your use of the app, breach of the terms, violation of law, infringement of third-party rights, or breach of an Apple agreement.
7. Privacy
The upstream project states that Apple ID credentials are processed on the device only for provisioning communication with Apple’s servers and are not available to, stored by, or sent to the developer. Consult the project documentation for implementation details.
8. Changes and termination
The upstream terms may change. Continuing to use SideInstaller after an update means accepting the revised terms. The developer may end the app or any feature without prior notice or liability.
9. Severability
If one part of the terms cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
